Motion graphics templates
Make your videos move like they were designed.
PowerFX is a library of animated titles, lower thirds, callouts, transitions, overlays and looks, made to drop onto a PowerScreen timeline and edit in place. The PowerFX app is the motion graphics studio they are made in, and you can use it to make your own.

What is in the library
The pieces a finished video is made of.
A good video is mostly the recording, plus a handful of graphics that tell people where they are and what to look at. PowerFX is those graphics, already animated, in one consistent style.
Titles & lower thirds
Opening titles, chapter cards, name and role straps, end cards. Type your words and pick your colours; the animation is already done.
Callouts & screen tools
Arrows, highlight boxes, spotlights, step numbers and keystroke badges: the pieces a tutorial or a product demo needs to point at what matters.
Transitions
Wipes, slides, light sweeps and graphic reveals that carry one shot into the next, timed to sit on a cut.
Overlays & backgrounds
Light leaks, grain, frames and moving backgrounds to put behind a window recording or over a plain shot.
Social
Subscribe and follow prompts, progress bars and vertical layouts for clips that end up on a phone.
Looks
Colour looks and film finishes that give a whole sequence one consistent feel in a single step.
With PowerScreen
Drop it on the timeline. Type your words. Done.
The templates are made for PowerScreen, the screen recorder and video editor, so a title or a callout goes on a recording the same way as any other clip.
- 1
Pick a template
Browse the packs by kind, with a moving preview of each one, and download the ones you want.
- 2
Drop it on the timeline
In PowerScreen a template is a clip like any other: place it above your recording, trim it and move it to where it belongs.
- 3
Make it yours
Each template names the few things worth changing (the text, the colours, a size or a position) and you edit those in Effect Controls. The motion stays as it was designed.
The PowerFX app
The studio the templates are made in. Yours too.
Open any template in the PowerFX app to change more than its controls, or start from an empty composition and make your own. It is a full motion graphics application for Windows and macOS.
Compositions, layers and keyframes
Text, shape, solid and footage layers in nested compositions, animated with keyframes, easing curves and motion paths.
Hundreds of effects
Blurs, glows, distortions, generators, particles, keying and colour, running on the graphics card where it has one.
3D cameras and lights
Put layers in 3D space and move a camera through them, with lights and depth of field.
Expressions
Drive one property from another with expressions, so a template keeps moving however long it is made.
Templates with controls
Choose which properties a template exposes, then save it as a template that PowerScreen can use.
Render to a file
Or just render: H.264, HEVC, ProRes with alpha, WebM, GIF and image sequences.
Questions
What people ask first.
+Do I need PowerScreen?
To use the templates in an edit, yes: they are made for PowerScreen's timeline. The PowerFX app renders any template to an ordinary video file too, with or without a transparent background, for use anywhere else.
+Which computers does it run on?
Windows 10 and 11 on x64 and ARM64 PCs, and macOS 11 or later on Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
+Can I change the text and colours?
Yes. Every template lists its controls (text, colours, sizes, positions and switches) and you change them without touching the animation. In the PowerFX app you can change everything else as well.
+Are the templates original?
Yes. Each one is designed for PowerFX, and the fonts and images they use are openly licensed or our own.
+Can I use them in work for clients?
Yes. What you make with the templates is yours, including commercial videos. What you may not do is resell or redistribute the templates themselves.
+Does it need the internet?
Only to download templates and the app. After that, editing and rendering happen on your computer.

Pick a title, a lower third and a callout or two, and your recording looks like it had a designer.
